Redness and rosacea consultations
Flushing, persistent redness and visible broken capillaries are common, and they can be frustrating to manage on your own. Our practitioners combine medical skincare advice with vascular laser treatments to build a plan that fits your skin.
All procedures carry risks and results vary. Read about recovery and risks below.

About redness
Facial redness has several causes. Rosacea is a long-term skin condition that causes flushing, redness and sometimes bumps, often triggered by heat, sun, alcohol, spicy food or stress. Broken capillaries are small, permanently widened blood vessels, often on the nose and cheeks, linked to sun damage and genetics.
Other skin conditions can look similar, so a diagnosis comes first. Your GP or a dermatologist can also help with rosacea.

Recovery and risks
Every option carries risks, and your practitioner will explain them in detail before you decide.
Recovery
After vascular laser treatment, expect redness and mild swelling for a few days. Some people have bruising that lasts a week or more. Avoid sun exposure before and after treatment.
Recovery varies from person to person.
Possible risks
