Fraxel Repair laser resurfacing

Fraxel Repair is a fractional CO2 laser that treats thousands of tiny columns of skin at a time, prompting the skin to renew itself. Our practitioners have used it for years to treat sun damage, uneven texture, fine lines and scarring.

All procedures carry risks and results vary. Read about recovery and risks below.

About

About Fraxel Repair

It is an ablative laser, which means it removes a fraction of the skin’s surface while heating the deeper layers. The untreated skin in between helps healing.

Usually one treatment is needed, sometimes more, and improvement develops over around three to six months as new collagen forms. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

Suitability

Who it may suit

Adults with moderate sun damage, uneven texture, fine lines or acne scarring who can allow a week of recovery.

It may not suit darker skin types, people prone to scarring, or anyone with a recent tan or certain medical conditions.

Before you decide

Recovery and risks

Recovery varies from person to person.
