Dr Jean-Paul Chung

Dr Jean-Paul Chung graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2015 with a Bachelor of Medicine. He began his postgraduate training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, which led him to successfully complete a Master’s degree in Trauma Surgery. His passion for facial anatomy, regenerative medicine, and meticulous attention to detail drew him to the field of cosmetic medicine.
Dr Jean-Paul is a dual Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Medicine and Surgery (ACCSM) and the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia (CPCA). He is an experienced aesthetic trainer, a published first author in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented his work at prestigious cosmetic surgical conferences.
He has a special interest in non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures for full facial rejuvenation, restoration, and beautification. To further enhance the safety and effectiveness of cosmetic treatments, Dr Jean-Paul has undertaken advanced training in the use of lasers and ultrasound technology.
Dr Jean-Paul takes a collaborative and personalised approach to patient care. His philosophy is to highlight each patient’s unique features while addressing their specific concerns, always aiming to achieve natural and harmonious results. At the heart of his practice is an ethical and holistic treatment philosophy tailored to the individual.
In addition, Dr Jean-Paul serves as a field expert for the Aesthetic Medical Emergency Team (AMET), providing guidance and support in managing complex complications related to cosmetic procedures across Australia.
Fluent in both French and English, Dr Jean-Paul brings a global perspective to his practice. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, photography, and maintaining an active lifestyle through fitness.
