Chin Treatment
Your chin shape, length and width can dramatically impact on your overall facial shape and your appearance. Chin treatment is an effective way to improve your appearance and restore your facial proportions and balance.
HOW CAN THE CHIN BE TREATED?
We provide non-surgical treatment options that may help support chin shape and balance facial features. Certain treatments can assist in adding volume or addressing muscle activity in this area, which may contribute to an improved profile following consultation with a qualified health professional.
These treatments are designed to be less invasive than surgery and may involve minimal downtime. Results vary from person to person, and the approach taken will depend on your individual needs and consultation outcomes.
Potential benefits of non-surgical chin treatments may include:
Supporting overall facial balance and profile
Enhancing chin definition as part of a personalised treatment plan
Minimal recovery time compared to surgical options
Who is suitable?
Non-surgical chin treatments may be considered for those seeking to improve the appearance of their chin or jawline without surgery. Your suitability will be determined during a private consultation with a qualified practitioner.
WHAT IS INVOVLED IN A CHIN TREATMENT?
The chin procedure is similar to other volume restoration treatments and requires less downtime than its equivalent surgical options, for example, chin implant surgery.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
The treatment is administered by a cannula or fine needle (depending on the areas being treated) and feels like a small pin prick. You might experience some slight redness and generally, there is minimal downtime, and most people can return to their normal activities straight after the treatment. Any downtime is usually due to swelling or bruising, which can be camouflaged by make-up.
Results will begin to appear immediately. The total effect (depending on the area treated) could take a few weeks.
DOES IT HURT?
We can use a specialised numbing cream - our own formulated high-potency anesthetic. You can also choose to use Nitrous Oxide (Happy Gas) during the procedure.
Our practitioners can also perform an anesthetic block in certain areas, like those used at the dentist.
These minimise the discomfort associated with this treatment.
